It actually was a no-brainer. While I started Keystone, I started buying residential rental property and bought four or five houses in a short period of time. I noticed that the banks and the mortgage companies I was talking to, first of all, did not give me the level of service that I expected and deserved. But they also really didn’t know what they were talking about! So, I thought the best way to serve the people of Tennessee was to start a mortgage company that really cares about the people and does what’s best for them. We believe that being a keystone, being the foundation and being the support for someone who is buying a home, there’s no better honor that we can have than to serve them in one of the biggest things they will do during their life.
