Dale Carnegie says that you can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you. So, that says to me if you’re asking questions and you truly care about people, and you want to know about people and how they are doing, that is such a more effective means of becoming a friend and forming a friendship than ever trying to be such an interesting person that other people come to you.
